When I try to pray, a lot of times I'm not sure exactly what to say. I like this verse below - it lets me know that God understands more than we can ever know.
Romans 8:26
Worldwide English (New Testament) (WE)
26Also the Spirit helps
us because we are weak. We do not know how we should talk to God. But
the Spirit himself talks to God for us, while we cry and cannot say any
words.
My study bible says, "As a believer, you are not left to your own resources."
5 Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
his understanding has no limit.
16 I will lead the blind by ways they have not known,
along unfamiliar paths I will guide them;
I will turn the darkness into light before them
and make the rough places smooth.
These are the things I will do;
I will not forsake them.
9 Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez,[a] saying, “I gave birth to him in pain.” 10
Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and
enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so
that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.
My study bible says, "As a believer, you are not left to your own resources."
Pastor Blackburn put it another way tonight using the following verse:
John 16:30
New International Version (NIV)
30 Now we can see that you
know all things and that you do not even need to have anyone ask you
questions. This makes us believe that you came from God.”
God has the answer - trust God!
